Tunnels

Low tunnels are mini-greenhouses. Low tunnels are temporary structures that are easy to assemble and disassemble with each crop.

They warm the soil and provide a temperate microclimate for growing vegetables. Even though there may be snow on the ground, the temperature under the low tunnel is often just right for growing cool-season vegetables. This means it protects crops from cold temperatures and frost.

Low tunnels are temporary structures comprised of a set of hoops. We have 6 to 8ft tall sticks. It is aligned over one or several rows and covered with a material that fits the purpose. The supporting Stick we provide is made of Plastic+Fiber+Silk.
